Play Groups

Having young children at home can be fun and busy and exhausting, but it can also be lonely!
Are you looking for something to do during the week to entertain your kids with the bonus of
meeting and interacting with other moms and dads? Central California Parent Magazine is here
to help with a list of play groups in your area.

Play groups offer many benefits to both children and parents. Children get to socialize with
others their age, and parents meet peers with whom they can share the challenges and joys of
raising kids – developing new friendships is valuable for both parent and child. Play groups
also provide social and language stimulation as well as the opportunity to try new things
and discover new skills. And, of course, play groups are FUN!

Check out our list below and contact us if you have a play group you’d like to see included
on this page. Happy playing!
