Green Monster Smoothies

These silly smoothies are a great way to get the kids to eat their vegetables. The delicious combination of peanut butter and banana perfectly masks the taste of the spinach that makes these smoothies mom-approved!

  1. In a blender add in 2 frozen bananas, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, 1 cup of vanilla yogurt, 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and 3/4 cups of water. Blend thoroughly.
  2. Add in 4 cups of washed baby spinach. Push the spinach down towards the bottom of the blender with a spoon. Blend until smooth.
  3. Let the kids draw goofy monster faces on clear plastic cups. When you poor the smoothie into their decorated cups, they’ll have silly green monsters to slurp up!
